Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers are in advanced talks to sign Genk striker Tolu Arokodare.

According to Belgian outlet HLN, Wolves are prepared to table €25m for the Nigeria international, who is expected to leave the Belgian Pro League before the end of the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old, who finished as Belgium’s top scorer last season with 21 goals, has also attracted interest from Serie A giants AC Milan and Napoli.

Wolves view Arokodare as the ideal replacement for Jørgen Strand-Larsen, who is close to sealing a move to Newcastle United.

Genk have left the forward out of their squad for Thursday’s UEFA Europa Conference League clash against Lech Poznań to avoid any risks ahead of a potential transfer.
