Winter is Coming Cardiff will continue AEW’s tease of a Women’s title feud we need to see

Most of AEW’s attention has been on Winter is Coming Dynamite, next Wednesday in Atlanta. That’s where Samoa Joe defends the Men’s World title against Eddie Kingston after all, along with several other big matches.

But there’s also a Winter is Coming Collision, and it will be the first television from AEW’s latest tour of the United Kingdom. AEW started setting that Dec. 13 show from Cardiff, Wales up on Dynamite last night (Dec. 3). Mark Briscoe revealed he’ll defend the TNT championship for the first time in Wales, against someone he has a lot of history with in Daniel Garcia:

And we learned that AEW Women’s World champ Kris Statlander will continue her tense alliance with Jamie Hayter on Hayter’s side of the Atlantic, teaming to take on Sisters of Sin Julia Hart and Skye Blue (with their Triangle of Madness ally Thekla lurking, no doubt). The Brit wrapped up the promo segment announcing the match by reminding Stat she wants the World title back.

This has been simmering since before Statlander’s shocking title win at All Out Toronto in a 4-way that included Hayter. Jamie didn’t take the pin though, and she pinned Stat in the Owen semis back in April. We can’t be the only ones who want to see these two go one-on-one for the division’s biggest prize?

Let us know if you’re with is in wanting a Statlander/Hayter Women’s World championship program to start in Wales. Do that in the comments, down below the following playlist of highlights from the Dec. 3 Dynamite.
