Our mistakes can hurt others. We can't always undo what happened, but by acknowledging and apologising, we can let them know that we care.

Most of the time, people are aware of our mistakes, but they don't admit them because they don't want to feel inferior. Their arrogance prevents them from admitting their mistake and trying to rectify them. Such behaviour only adds to someone's pain as it makes them feel unimportant.

If you made a mistake, own up to it. Try to be supportive of the other person, find ways to make them feel better, and learn from your mistakes, so you don't hurt someone again.
