“We need to partner with MoMo PSB” – Commissioner For Youth and Social Development Shares At Empowering Her Fortune Initiative (EHF) 2.0

MoMo Payment Service Bank (PSB) partnered with the Ikoyi-Obalende Local Council Development Area (LCDA) for its Empowering Her Fortune Initiative (EHF) as the official payment platform, facilitating the disbursement of  N50,000 each was disbursed to 1000 small-scale female entrepreneurs.

In his keynote address, the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, emphasised the need for continued collaboration between MoMo PSB and the LCDA. He urged for future partnerships that would further enhance the initiative’s impact on local communities.

Commissioner Ogunlende highlighted that digital financial solutions are vital for empowering women and youth by increasing access to financial resources, which in turn promotes sustainable community development. He stressed that by offering safe, accessible, and inclusive financial services, MoMo PSB has significantly bolstered the initiative’s efforts to provide the female entrepreneurs with the necessary resources to scale their businesses.

With its support during the EHF initiative 2.0, MoMo PSB further proves its commitment to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing essential financial tools and fostering an inclusive environment for entrepreneurs.

MoMo PSB, established in May 2022 as the fintech division of MTN, continues to focus on delivering user-friendly, accessible, and affordable financial services to both new and existing customers across Nigeria.
