2026 has been the year that I leaned on Etsy more than ever before. Not only have I (virtually) met the nicest artisans and sellers, but I’ve also been able to buy design-forward custom pieces without having to spend a ton. In honor of my deep obsession, I’m dropping some of my favorites as of late, along with some more editor-approved picks.

An unexpected accessory you’ll see everywhere this year…

I have Colman Domingo to thank for my obsession with brooches, so I’ve been on a deep dive for my fiancé’s wedding look. These birth flower ones from Etsy are equal parts chic and stunning, and they’ll add some flair to blazers, sweaters, and coats.

A cake topper that’ll become a family heirloom…

Because who wouldn’t want a silly goose cake topper? This one is made of porcelain and can hold a single candle. It’d make a pretty sweet gift for someone celebrating their first birthday, or an adult who knows how to have a good time.

The hat dedicated to pesto’s biggest fan…

Yes, you read that right. This dad hat is perfect for all the foodies and pasta lovers alike. Our Commerce Director (a fellow Italian) bought it for herself after dropping it in her group chat, where the immediate, unanimous response was that she needed to buy it immediately. She did.

The cutest way to never lose your keys…

I might be one of the only people to think this, but my issue with the Jellycat keychains is that they’re too big and bulky to actually place on my keys. These adorable felt food key chains are just the right size. They’re big enough to help you find your keys in a pinch, but they aren’t too big to fit in your bag.

A chunky ring to add to your stack…

Meet the ring that calls it like it is. It’s simple, made with durable materials, and acts as a great conversation starter. I love that it goes seamlessly with the rest of my rings but makes enough of a statement to wear on its own. Grab a silver one for your best friend, and a gold one for yourself.

A custom return address stamp…

I’m getting married in October, so I’m in the season of writing tons of thank you notes. I recently bought this heart-shaped return address stamp, and while it might not seem like a need, it has cut back on spending lots of time writing out my address on the back of envelopes. Not to mention, I love that it adds a personal touch.

The best way to make them a mixtape…

Just pick their favorite songs (you’ll have to send them as an MP3 file), and the shop will burn them onto vinyl. I love that you can even customize the sleeve with a photo or a personal message. If your giftee has just about everything, definitely go for this.

A cheeky gift for the guy in your life…

Being in my wedding era, I’ve been thinking a lot about fun gifts for guys. I recently came across these custom, bobble head-esque bottle openers for groomsmen. They’re thoughtful, funny, and practical. I love to give people gifts they’ll actually use.

The downloadable templates I used for my bridesmaid boxes…

I downloaded this template, tweaked it a bit, and used it to create stickers for the front of my bridesmaid boxes. They turned out great, and it was an easy way to make a simple white box feel custom and elevated.

A noncommittal notepad that’ll help tackle to-dos…

Sometimes, simpler is better. This personalized outline has slots for priorities, a spacious to-do list, tasks for the next day, and things you don’t want to forget. Customize it by adding your name. It’s slim enough to pack in a tote, but I’d buy two — one to keep at home and one for the office.

A genuine leather tote…

Designer bag trends come and go all the time, and because of that, my biggest recommendation is to check out the bag offerings on Etsy. You can find a lot of trending silhouettes made with high-quality materials at an affordable price. This one is a small leather tote with roomy straps.

An incense holder that doubles as decor…

I can always get behind a decor piece that’s practical. This lily-shaped incense holder will make a statement on any coffee table and because it’s handmade, each one won’t be exactly the same. Our Senior Editor has the white one, but check out the red and lavender versions for a pop of color.

The mushroom disco ball we didn’t know we needed…

A disco mushroom? Say less. This is another statement piece that will help catch the light in your space. Pick from five different sizes, spanning three color options. And no, you don’t have to wait for a party to keep it out.

A resin necklace from a woman-owned brand…

I’ve spoken in the past about my love for the woman-owned jewelry brand ActiveArtistry and its now-sold-out bubble initial necklace. Lately, I’ve been eyeing this resin heart necklace from the brand. While it’s minimal and simple in style, it’s an easy way to add color to an outfit.

An easy birthday gift that looks expensive…

TaylorElliotDesigns is another one of my favorite Etsy shops. She has lots of acrylic-based gifts that aren’t expensive and still feel unique. I’d pair this confetti letter charm with a giftcard for a friend.

A personalized book stamp for the avid collector…

If you’re particularly proud of your book collection, you’ll appreciate this embossing stamp. You can personalize with your name and a proprietary phrase, like “From the Library Of.” It’ll also ensure that your books return to their rightful owner after lending them out.

A discrete ring that doubles as a fidget…

For stressful days, I’m into this sleek tri-color ring that doubles as a fidget toy. No one will ever know. Just wear it with your regular stack and you can spin the different pieces as the anxiety starts to hit. It’s made of sterling silver and ranges in size, starting with a 5.

Chinoiserie candlesticks for hosting nights in…

If you’re feeling the itch to change your decor but don’t have the budget to splurge, swapping in some fun candlesticks will do the trick. The chinoiserie design is timeless and will get you excited for spring. Plus, the wax is nontoxic.

A personalized accessory that makes a big difference…

Small, but mighty, personalized luggage tags come in handy because they’ll help you quickly identify your suitcase in a sea of black luggage. This one is made of a durable saffiano PU leather and you can add your initials in gold embossing.

A giftable leather tag that earns them par-fect points…

If their ideal Saturday is spent on expansive lawns, golf caddy in hand, this engraved leather tag will turn tee time into me time. There are five design options (our favorite: “the best dad by par” with the gifter’s name), plus it comes with a few tees tucked in. A tiny gift that feels personal, playful, and perfectly at home on the green.

Heirloom tomato-shaped candles..

I never met a tomato candle I didn’t like. These ones are particularly cute because they’ll jazz up a boring tablescape in minutes. They’re made of 100% soy wax and a cotton wick for a clean burn, but we’d suggest leaving them on the table without lighting them. Pick from two sizes and both red and green colorways.
