Jesus rose, Jesus reigns, and ultimately, Jesus wins.

These truths anchor us when we face job uncertainty, relational hurts, and health challenges. As we celebrate Jesus’ victory over sin and death this Easter season, it’s also a great time to introduce Him to someone you know who needs this assurance.

Whether they are a skeptic or a seeker, young or old, here are 12 free events you can invite your loved ones to and introduce them to the Living Hope this Easter. (Admission is free unless otherwise stated)

1. Light of the World: An animated movie screening  

This beautiful 2D-animated story follows the ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus through the eyes of the young apostle John. Discover how Jesus of Nazareth changed the world forever and continues to change lives today. View the official trailer here.

2. What It Takes: A drama production 

Experience the journeys of three distinct lives — a devout rabbi, a woman crushed by stigma, and a fiery activist. Each is driven to extremes for their beliefs until they are confronted by the staggering lengths a stranger would go for them.

3. The Courtroom: A drama production 

Step into the Court of Heaven, where Judge Law presides over a celestial trial and eternal destinies hang in the balance. Watch as D’Accuser, the unrelenting Prosecutor, faces off against Jesus Christ, the compassionate Defending Counsel, for the souls of three mortals accused of sin. Attend the hearing dates and hear the verdict!

4. The Lamb of Calvary: A Musical Cantata 

Enter into the mystery of Christ’s saving love through an hour-long passion musical cantata presented by the Cathedral Choir of the Risen Christ and directed by Sir Dr Peter Low.

5. The Case for Christ: Movie screening & dinner 

What happens when a hard-nosed investigative journalist treats faith like a crime scene? Follow the true story of Lee Strobel, an atheist legal editor for the Chicago Tribune, as he attempts to dismantle the foundations of Christianity — only to be confronted by the evidence.

6. Why Did Jesus Have to Die? Faith Discovery Service 

Couldn’t God just forgive without the cross? Why all the blood and suffering? These aren’t just questions for Christians; they are questions of life and death that impact every one of us. Discover how an event from 2,000 years ago still holds the key to our purpose, identity, and worth today.

7. The Death that Reconciles: A Gospel rally by Rev Dr Stephen Tong 

Discover the power of a sacrifice that mends what is broken. Join Rev Dr Stephen Tong for a special Good Friday message exploring how the cross brings peace and reconciliation to our lives today.

8. Beyond the Curtain: A Good Friday presentation 

What lies beyond the veil of our everyday struggles? This Good Friday presentation by Grace Assembly invites you to look past the immediate and discover the enduring hope that remains even in life’s most difficult chapters.

A heartfelt story that explores the “stones” many of us carry – insecurity, fear, guilt, bitterness, and control – and how the resurrection still speaks into real lives today.
