The police in Delta state have arrested four members of a syndicate that specializes in fleecing members of the public of their money under the guise that they are prophets and will help them secure a better life. In a post shared on X, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Bright Edafe, said the suspects had accosted the victim with claims that he had a bright future and would need their spiritual help. The suspects even moved the victim to Osun state insisting he needed to use the Osun river water to have a bath to ensure he prospers in life.
