Victor Boniface, who suffered a major groin injury in Super Eagles training on the eve of the recent AFCON, has finally been given a date to return to action with his high-flying German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.

The exciting striker has not played since January due to the injury that needed surgery.

Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso said he believes his top scorer could be fit for their Bundesliga tie against Hoffenheim on March 30, immediately after the international break.

Victor Boniface, 22, finally returned to the grass last week and could be back on the pitch between March 20th and April 5th for the Bundesliga table toppers.
