VeryDarkMan Questions Accountability After Dangote Truck Accident Leaves Phyna’s Sister In Critical Condition

Nigerian social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has claimed that Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, may avoid legal consequences following an accident that left Big Brother Naija star Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor, critically injured.

The accident occurred at Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State and involved a Dangote Group truck, which allegedly struck Ruth and the commercial bike she was riding on.

Ruth reportedly had one leg amputated and faces the risk of losing the other, while the bike rider remains in critical condition.

Phyna has criticised both the company and the police for failing to prioritise the welfare of the victims.

In a video shared on his Instagram page on Thursday, VDM said Dangote’s immense influence makes it unlikely that justice will be served, but he urged the billionaire to take moral responsibility and provide support for the victims.

“Neither the government, the judiciary, nor the executive can challenge Dangote, and even the police can’t act against him. We can’t take him to court — the only option is to plead with him to assist the victims,” VDM stated.
