Update: 86-year-old woman set ablaze by daughter dies in Ondo

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the death of an 86-year-old woman, who was set on fire by her daughter in Ondo City.  The woman, popularly known as Iya Biodun, died at the trauma centre of the School of Medical Sciences Ondo, where she was rushed to for treatment. LIB reported that the incident occurred at Surulere, opposite the Anglican Cathedral Church in Ondo West local government area on Friday.  read here According to the suspect, Abiodun, 45, she committed the act because a pastor told her that her mother was responsible for her lifes predicament.  The spokesperson of the command, Funmilayo Odunlami, who confirmed the incident said the suspect would be charged in court as soon as possible.  The post Update: 86-year-old woman set ablaze by daughter dies in Ondo appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
