Tina Turner Son, Ike Turner Jr., Dies at 67 After Suffering a Stroke

The music world is mourning the loss of Ike Turner Jr., the son of legendary performers Tina Turner and Ike Turner Sr., who has passed away at the age of 67.

According to reports, Ike Jr. died after suffering a stroke in early September, marking yet another heartbreaking chapter for the Turner family.
Born in 1958 to Ike Turner Sr. and Lorraine Taylor, Ike Jr. was later adopted by Tina Turner, who raised him during her marriage to Ike Sr.

Growing up in one of music’s most iconic families, Ike Jr. was surrounded by fame and talent from an early age. After Tina’s split from her ex-husband, Ike Jr. briefly worked as her sound engineer, though their professional collaboration was short-lived.
Unlike his famous parents, Ike Jr. kept a low profile in recent years, staying out of the public eye while maintaining a deep connection to the musical legacy his family built.

He was one of four children linked to Ike and Tina’s marriage, including Craig Turner, Ronnie Turner, and Michael Turner. Sadly, Craig died in 2018, and Ronnie passed away in 2022.

Ike Turner Sr., a Rock and Roll pioneer, died in 2007, and the Queen of Rock ’n’ Roll herself, Tina Turner, passed away in 2023 at the age of 83.
