A woman has taken to social media to allege negligence at Asokoro General Hospital, Abuja claiming her sister died after being denied treatment over an outstanding balance of ₦15,000.

In a video shared on TikTok, the woman, identified as Successful Tiannah, was seen in tears as she recounted the incident. She alleged that she had already paid for two pints of bl00d for her sister but that hospital staff refused to proceed with treatment because of the remaining balance.

She further claimed that a doctor declined to release the blood needed for her sister’s care due to the unpaid amount.

“Because of 15,000 naira” she cried in the video.
