Every big blog you see, started from small. Every great person you see, have a day they were born. Every giant company you see out there, have a founded year. 

It is the effective use of time, energy and resources that makes them different from the rest. 

Effective use of time, energy and resources — that makes them different, and profitable. 

There are three things that causes the difference: which are knowledge, skill and network.

(Hosea 4 vs. 6), my people perish for lack of knowledge. That all be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2 vs. 4). 

This is to show us that knowledge save us for perishing. Bishop David Oyedepo, said, we should seek what it takes to outshine others in our field, and take massive actions — for we to see the results in our lives.

Nothing empowers more than insights. What make the big blogs, giant companies, great minds — different from you, is the knowledge that they have acquired. That you have not. 

Because it is what you know that moves you ahead, and what you see is what you get. 

The next, is skill. Skill is an ability that has been acquired through training. Skill is also the ability to produce solutions in some problem domain. 

Kings seek men with skills, skillful people. No government mingle with dull people. 

“(2 Chronicles 2 vs. 7) Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.”

That was King Solomon of Israel, calling for men of skills. Here we have

Daniel, a man of understanding and skills, having all knowledge by the wisdom of God.

"(Daniel 1 vs. 17) As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams."

Skill and knowledge must be acquired through training, learning. Wisdom from only God, knowledge and skills comes from learning and training.

"(Daniel 9 vs. 22) And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding."

Skill without understanding, is useless. I will have to tell you, we all have a vision, and it takes divine direction to get the vision accomplished. Vision is foresight, and directions are step by step to get there. 

Critical thinking is a skill, in real sense, thinking rightly is a skill, and most people don't have it. Most people don't know how to think.

"(Ecclesiastes 9 vs. 11) I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all."

Time and chance happen to all, you need to get divine wisdom and divine directions — to achieve your vision and manifest your full potentials.

The third one, is network. Your network is your net worth. Invest in relationship with all men, reasonable and value added people. 

Build relationship with people from different field of life. Military, police, politics, entertainment, law, doctors, accountants, bankers, ministers of God (based on your faith), of tribes you come to meet — all field.

Elon Musk once said, when you only have people in your field in your network, you are poor. As a business man, I have skill in web programming and management and monetisation. I have skills in leadership, marketing, sales and business management. 

I have wide knowledge of basics in most fields — but without network I am a poor man. 

Relationship will open doors that skills and knowledge can't open, relationship brings opportunities your certificate can't offer. Who you know, is what makes you known. 

I know Jesus Christ, and I am succeeding. I have network with other people in different field. God did it. 

In the time of Joseph (Genesis of the Bible), the chief wine dresser of Pharaoh talked to Pharaoh about Joseph, that was how Joseph became a governor. He has the skill, the knowledge, but without network, he would still be in the prison. 

Build network. Because your network is your net worth. They that know their God, shall do exploits — network!

Knowledge, Skill and Network — these are what differentiate the giants from the fainting ones. 

Get relevant knowledge in your field, learn valuable skills in your area, and build relationship with other people in other field, I mean network locally and expand globally. 

Aliko Dangote said, build connections and pray for big breaks. You are the one that will build the connections. By offering values to their lives, giving solution to their problems. Be value added, to get promoted to higher position in your life.
