The NLO Sets Rules for Clubs Ahead of Upcoming Season

In preparation for the upcoming 2024 season, the Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) has issued a directive to its secretariat to enforce regulations regarding club participation.

A communication was dispatched to the clubs by the NLO informing them of these requirements.

Clubs failing to meet the specified criteria will no longer be part of the NLO starting from the 2024 season.

Additionally, clubs are advised by the NLO to become affiliated with a state and to submit an annual registration fee as outlined by the league governing body.

Failure to comply with the payment regulations will result in the assumption that the club has chosen to withdraw from league participation.

The NLO secretariat has also indicated that clubs that have made partial payments can apply for a refund.

The 2024 NLO season is scheduled to commence on Saturday, April 13, 2024, with a total of over 153 teams slated to take part.
