The Ford F-150 is celebrating its 50th birthday next year. That's older than many of us here at CarBuzz, which has been America's best-selling truck for 48 years and the best-selling vehicle overall for 43 years. Yes, that includes this concluding year, at least until November 2024. Since 1977, two years after the first F-150 was introduced, Ford has moved 33 million F-Series trucks from various Ford assembly plants in the country.
