The 1975 Pontiac Astre Li'L Wide Track Was An Unsuccessful Attempt Revive A Muscle Car

We've talked about it a lot at CarBuzz. The classic muscle car era of the 1960s and very early 1970s created some of the most iconic and well-remembered models ever produced by American manufacturers. Nameplates such as the Chevrolet Chevelle and the Pontiac GTO come to mind, as these are just two examples of full-blooded, classic muscle cars that emerged from the US during that period. Feasibly, you can lump the original Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang into the group, too, but these are technically considered pony cars.
