Super Falcons arrive Togo ahead WAFCON Qualifier against Benin Republic

Ten-time African champions, the Super Falcons, have kicked off preparations for their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier against Benin Republic, with eight players already in camp in Lomé, Togo.

The first leg of the encounter is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, at the Stade de Kégué in Lomé while the return leg will take place on Monday, October 28, at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Among the early arrivals are captain Asisat Oshoala, Taiwo Afolabi, Folashade Ijamilusi, Miracle Usani, Joy Omewa, Anderline Mgbechi, Blessing Illivieda, and Kafayat Mafisere.

Nigeria, who boast a record ten WAFCON titles, will be looking to assert their dominance once again and make a strong statement on the road to the 2026 edition of the continental showpiece.
