The Super Eagles have dropped two spots to 30th best team in the world after they fell 2-0 to Mali in a friendly played in Morocco last month.

It was Les Aigles of Mali first win over Nigeria in 10 years.

The Super Eagles under caretaker coach Finidi George also beat arch-rivals Ghana 2-1 in another friendly during last month’s international break.

They remain third in Africa behind Morocco and Senegal.

AFCON champions Cote d’Ivoire, who in February denied Nigeria a fourth continental trophy, and Egypt complete the Top 5 teams in Africa, according to the latest FIFA rankings released today.

World champions Argentina remain the best team in the world.
