STRICTLY Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has given fans a rare glimpse of his huge mansion as he guts it before the new series.

He bought the £1.8million home in Northamptonshire in 2021 and has finally got the builders in to create his dream home.

He shared pictures of the interior completely torn out and rubble piled up outside the property.

Another snap appeared to show a gaping hole in the ground.

Exposed beams, walls, and crumbling plaster didn’t dampen Craig’s spirits as he insisted his dream home is well underway.

He taggged the company and said: “What a find AFD Construction have been. They certainly don’t any waste time.

“If you’re in the East Midlands and looking for a cracking team they are worth a look.”

Strictly pro Neil Jones replied: “One Question, will my room have a bath tub?”

Singer Sam Bailey penned beneath his post: “Wow!”

The professional dancer previously shared before and after photos of his all-white kitchen before it was ripped out and the gutted room left after it was gutted.

“After what feels like a lifetime, the renovations are finally underway. Fingers crossed our full house renovation is finished in a fortnight but it might take a smidge longer!” Craig captioned the post on Instagram.

Before being destroyed, the kitchen featured all white cabinets and grey marble counter tops, including in the large kitchen island in the middle of the room.

One wall featured shiny grey tiles which complimented the white light shades over the hanging lights, and white wood panelled finishes in the rest of the light-filled kitchen.

The floor was decked with dark coloured stone tiles and were also ripped out in the remodelling.

Craig’s fans rushed to compliment his style and wish him the best in his home renovation journey.

The value of Craig’s seven-bed mansion was believed to have jumped £235,000 in the first two years he owned it.

The dancer previously opened up on moving from London to the small community in Northamptonshire.

The Strictly favourite spoke to Peterborough Matters in 2022 about the rural area. He said: “I moved in October 2021 so quite recently, but it’s been a great sort of village vibe – I have not had that before.

“In London you are ignored and in Hampshire where I lived in a country property, I had a mile-long drive and I had no neighbours so it’s nice to be back in the community.

“Everyone is lovely – there’s actually a pub and a shop that I can walk to, it’s absolutely great. People love to chat and interact, it feels welcoming and amazing.”
