Nigeria Premier Football League outfit Sporting Lagos on Friday announced Paul Aigbogun as their new technical director.

The former Flying Eagles coach will provide technical support for the senior team and also work closely with the club’s football academy and affiliate club, Aarhus Fremad.

Aigbogun once handled Warri Wolves and Enyimba in the NPFL.

The 51-year-old led the Flying Eagles to the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The UEFA-licensed tactician previously served as the deputy technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Sporting Lagos gained promotion to the NPFL last season.
