Southampton boss praises Aribo after cameo vs Millwall

Southampton interim manager Tonda Eckert has heaped praise on Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo following his impressive second-half appearance against Millwall in the Championship.

Aribo came on as a substitute during Southampton’s 3–2 defeat at the weekend, marking his fifth appearance of the season after returning from injury.

Speaking to the Daily Echo after the match, Eckert expressed satisfaction with Aribo’s contribution and consistency whenever he is introduced from the bench.

“I am very happy with Joe. He has been excellent every time he has come on, and he is in very good shape.”
