Lei Ying Lee to fight best friend for Knockouts title at TNA Final Resolution

Thursday was a busy night for the women’s division on TNA Impact (Dec. 4, 2025). Lei Ying Lee found out that a familiar face will challenge for the Knockouts Championship at Final Resolution, and the IInspiration have their next tag title bout set as well.

Lei Ying Lee is fresh off winning the Knockouts Championship from Kelani Jordan at NXT Gold Rush. Her first title defense at Final Resolution would be determined in a #1 contender bout between Dani Luna and Xia Brookside. Luna seemed like the logical pick, because she is a heel. However, TNA went for a more interesting approach by having Lee’s tag team partner pick up the win.

Brookside used submission holds to weaken Luna’s base in an effort to negate power offense. That strategy worked for only so long. Luna picked up steam with a buckle bomb to break a submission hold. Luna followed up for a rebound thunder bomb. Brookside kicked out on the cover. Luna’s frustration showed, and she went outside to retrieve a chair and a steel chain. That’s when Indi Hartwell ran in for payback. Hartwell grabbed the chain to clock Luna with a loaded punch. Brookside took advantage of the situation for a roll-up to win.

Lee was happy for her best friend to get the title shot. The Angel Warriors have respect for each other and will shake hands after the match.

In the tag team division, the IInspiration encouraged any team to shoot their shot at the Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Tessa Blanchard and Victoria Crawford answered the call. They ran their mouths as a trap for Mila Moore to attack from behind. Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee flipped the script to stand tall with an Idolizer on Moore. Nonetheless, the IInspiration versus Blanchard and Crawford for tag team gold is official at Final Resolution.

Final Resolution airs live on Friday. December 5 through the TNA+ subscription and TrillerTV.
