Sadiq Umar set for Real Sociedad exit amid €30m Qatar offer






Nigeria international Umar Sadiq is poised to leave Spanish club Real Sociedad on a permanent deal this summer, with reports linking him to a lucrative move to Qatar.

According to Spanish outlet Que, a Qatari club is prepared to table a €30 million offer for the striker, who is on loan at Valencia.

Sadiq, 28, joined Valencia from Real Sociedad during the January transfer window and has impressed under manager Carlos Corberán, netting five goals in 13 La Liga appearances.

Valencia reportedly holds the option to make his loan move permanent and are seriously considering activating it. The club could then potentially sell him on for a significant profit.

Sadiq initially signed for Real Sociedad from Almeria in 2022, but injuries hampered his impact in his debut season. He managed just four goals in 35 league games for the Basque side.
