Rumors for the Day:

• Fightful Select notes that WWE has changed the way they call up talent from NXT in the past year or so. The decisions are “kept way closer to the vest” and are less strict about finishing up on NXT TV.
• For what it’s worth, Mark Henry said on Inside the Ring that some people think Randy Orton is being “underused” right now. He believes The Viper should turn heel again.
• Bryan Alvarez said that he heard Jazmyn Nyx actually turned down a higher money offer from WWE, which would have seen her go from making $75,000 per year to $98,000.
• On Wrestling Observer Radio, Alvarez noted he presumed Tony D’Angelo would be going to the main roster amidst his absence from NXT TV but no one has heard anything on him of late.
• According to Fightful, TNA had already decided to move on from Masha Slamovich even before abuse allegations publicly surfaced.
