Rumor Roundup: New WWE faction, WrestleMania 41 location, Tanga Loa deal, more!

Rumors for the Day:

• PW Insider says the QR codes that have been popping up on WWE television lately are leading to a new faction that will consist of Bo Dallas, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross.
• Wendy Blackshaw, the President and Chief Executive of Minnesota Sports and Events, told the Star Tribune that WWE informed them Minnesota wouldn’t host WrestleMania 41 “due to a change in direction by new ownership.”
• Speaking of WrestleMania 41, Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Las Vegas wanted to host the event on Easter weekend because it’s typically slower for tourism. WWE also hopes to avoid conflicts with other major events around that time.
• Per the Observer, Tanga Loa’s deal with WWE was done at the same time as Tama Tonga’s it just didn’t get out because New Japan Pro Wrestling never announced he was leaving.
• Fightful Select notes that Drew Gulak “had a reputation in NXT as a bully who would target recovering injuries in matches.” He was also apparently “reprimanded by Shawn Michaels for intentionally spiking another talent last year.”
• F4WOnline.com echoed that, saying younger talent weren’t comfortable talking about a veteran on the roster and he’s not being brought back to WWE due to the Ronda Rousey story.
