The RCCG Creative Christian Content Department (RCCCD) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has officially opened global calls for submission of films for its first International Film Festival scheduled for April 30th to May 1st 2026.

The film festival is scheduled to be held at the Redemption City of God, Lagos Ibadan expressway.

Head Publicity Department Redeemer’s International Christian Film festival (RICFF) 2026, Mrs Ugonma Cokey said in a statement that the deadline for the submission of films is 21st of March 2026.

RICFF 2026 is the maiden edition of the event, and it is scheduled to hold along with the global conference of the Department from 27th April to 1st May 2026.

The categories for the maiden film festival submission are; Feature Films (31+ mins), Short Films, Documentaries, Animation (2D, 3D & AI), Musical Videos & Visual Worship, Series/Episodic (Web & TV), Student Films and Recorded Stage Drama.

The Christian Film Festival is a global celebration of Christian storytelling, bringing together filmmakers from around the world to share inspiring, faith-driven films that promote Christian values as well as provide a platform for creative expressions of faith, showcasing films that explore themes of hope, redemption, love, and morality.

RICFF is dedicated to celebrating the powerful role of creative contents in spreading the Gospel.

It is designed as a premier gathering of filmmakers, producers, actors, creative entrepreneurs, investors, and media professionals across Nigeria and the diaspora.

The festival according to the statement will feature curated film screenings, industry masterclasses, panel discussions, networking sessions, and a prestigious awards ceremony, with a projected attendance of about 1,500 participants and over 100,000 digital media impressions, including coverage on Dove TV of RCCG.
