Here is the latest update on Marcus Rashford as Barcelona have officially confirmed their 23-man squad for the 2025/2026 Champions League.

Head coach Hansi Flick has addressed the concerns of fans as he unveiled his 23-man squad list for the 2025/2026 Champions League tournament, a list that also includes the summer signing, Marcus Rashford.

Initial concerns as to whether the English international would be selected arose before the start of the 2025/2026 club football season itself, with Barcelona struggling to register players.

Barcelona have finalised their squad for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League group stage following the completion of registrations for La Liga.

The Catalan giants welcomed three summer signings, Joan Garcia, Marcus Rashford, and Roony Bardghji, while parting ways with several fringe players and long-serving defender Iñigo Martínez.

UEFA’s official website has now published the squad list, confirming shirt numbers for the new and promoted players. Roony Bardghji, included as a reserve-team option for La Liga, will wear the No. 28 shirt in his debut European campaign. Marc Bernal, officially promoted to the senior squad on deadline day, has been handed the No. 22 shirt.

Elsewhere, injured captain Marc-André ter Stegen remains registered and keeps the No. 1 jersey, while new goalkeeper Joan Garcia has been assigned the No. 13.
