A young man has experienced police brutality in the case of his younger brother, who was killed by a team of policemen at Skymall in Lekki Epe, Lagos. The young man was embittered by how his brother was stabbed, but the Lagos police command assured the young man that the fugitive officer would be hunted down. Read the full story below.

This was made known by an X user, @NotMentus, on Saturday, noting that the officer and his colleague were currently on the run.

“Good morning, sir,My brother got stabbed to death by one of the police officers attached to Skymall at Sangotedo LEKKI.

“The officer is currently on the run, his colleague too is on the run,” he wrote.

ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), noted in his reaction to the matter on X that the Nigerian police and other security agencies would take necessary action.

He wrote; “I hope the command is aware of this. Work with @BenHundeyin, @LagosPoliceNG, and they will do the needful. Sorry about that. We will wade in, too. @PoliceNG, @FCID_ANNEX, and @PoliceNG_CRU, take the necessary action as well. Thanks.”
