A Nigerian lawyer has shared the story of his most painful heartbreak, involving a girlfriend who once assured him not to worry about another man, a tailor in her life.

The revelation was made on X (formerly Twitter) by user @egi_nupe___, who recalled how his ex-girlfriend dismissed a man showing interest in her, describing him as “just a common tailor disturbing me.”

According to the lawyer, the same tailor eventually got the woman pregnant and later married her. “He later impregnated her and they are now married,” he wrote, adding laughing emojis to underline the bitter irony.

When asked about the biggest lie he had ever been told, he quoted the viral tweet with her words: “He’s just a common tailor that’s disturbing me.”

The lawyer admitted that the heartbreak left him deeply hurt, revealing that he almost harmed himself during the ordeal.

“Lmao, I was! But it no reach the heartbreak wey I chop in 2013. I nearly drank Izal,” he confessed.
