PELOTON has relaunched its entire line-up of fitness machines with new workout perks and a brainy AI helper.

The exercise giant best known for its indoor bicycles says all five of its fitness devices are getting a major makeover.

Peloton flogs connected fitness gear that links up to the internet so you can get at-home workouts from professional trainers.

They’re beamed into your home via built-in screens on the company’s devices.

And now Peloton says it has upgraded the Bike and Bike+ bicycles, the Tread and Tread+ treadmills, and the Row+ rowing machine.

“This is the start of a new chapter for Peloton,” said company boss Peter Stern.

He added: “This is more than an upgrade – it’s a relaunch.”

All of the devices now have Cross Training functionality, which means they get swivel screens.

So you can spin the displays to the side and follow along with strength workouts at home.

But the Bike+ has received several other upgrades – and is now dubbed the Cross Training Bike+.

It now has a boosted speaker system with a woofer and tuning by audio giant Sonos.

Peloton says you’ll get “clearer sound, deeper bass, and an immersive, studio-like experience”.

There’s also hands-free control – using the “OK Peloton” command – which is handy if you’re doing weights off to the side.

Peloton has also added a three-speed fan to the top of the screen.

There’s a new phone tray that attaches to the Bike+ handlebars.

And Peloton has also added a new seat with “greater cushioning” on the Bike and Bike+.

As well as that, Peloton’s on-screen app has also been upgraded with a new Peloton IQ feature.

This is a brainy AI assistant that can analyse your workout history and class performance to predict how you’ll do in a specific session, and give you recommendations about what to do next.

And on the Bike+, it can use the built-in Movement-Tracking Camera to give you feedback on your form, count your reps, and even suggest weights.

On top of that, there’s a new Peloton Club that works a bit like an airline rewards scheme.

PELOTON PRICING

Here's how much the new models cost...

Peloton Cross Training Bike – £1,599

Peloton Cross Training Bike+ – £2,299

Peloton Cross Training Tread – £3,499

The Peloton Tread+ and Peloton Row+ are not currently available in the UK.

You earn points by completing milestones or sessions, and doing a variety of different class types.

And as you progress through the tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Champion, Legend), you’ll unlock rewards like store discounts and access to special Peloton Studio events.

The downside is that Peloton is changing the price of its All-Access Membership, with the bill rising from £39 to £49 a month.

And the regular App+ Membership goes up from £24 to £28.99.

Peloton says that these new rises are “effective in October”.
