Over 100 Students Abducted as Terrorists Attack Catholic School in Niger State, Nigeria

About 100 students of a Catholic secondary school in Niger State have been abducted by terrorists during a midnight attack.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Friday when armed men stormed St. Mary’s Papiri Private Catholic Secondary School in Papiri, located in Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State.

According to eyewitnesses, the attack lasted from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m., during which the gunmen took away the students and escaped into the surrounding area.

This kidnapping comes just five days after another attack in northwestern Nigeria, where terrorists invaded Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Kebbi State at around 4:00 a.m. on Monday, abducting students and staff.
