Olaitan apologises to Göztepe fans after jersey swap with Osimhen

Benin Republic international Junior Olaitan has apologised to Göztepe supporters after exchanging jerseys with Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen following their Turkish Super Lig clash at the weekend.

Osimhen continued his fine form, scoring the equaliser in Galatasaray’s 3-1 win over Göztepe, while Olaitan came on as a substitute in the second half.

After the match, Olaitan swapped shirts with his longtime friend Osimhen — a gesture that drew backlash from Göztepe fans, who viewed it as disrespectful given the club’s fierce rivalry with the Istanbul giants.
