“No One Is The Expert Of The Future, We Only Have Experts Of Histories” — Didi-Omah

On Tuesday, May 5, 2026; During NYSC lecture at Wannune Permanent Orientation Camp, one of the speakers, who happened to be a male. He was speaking from the concept of Moniepoint CEO's statement on a program, called The Platform Nigeria. Executive, I have told you before, I have written this before.

No one can foretell the future, no one is an expert of the future. The man was just talking indirectly to belittle shoe making and clothes. To me, he needs expansion knowledge into other field of life. You cannot belittle any field, today tech is the trend; tomorrow agriculture may take over. I have not seen any industry that does not have relevance in human lives and history. Every industry produces billionaires and make waves in the world of man.

No one is the expert of the future, we only have experts of histories — and that is expert of the pasts. We can only predict the future based on past records and today's data; then we work hard towards seeing our predictions come true. If it fails, we learn — if it succeed, we celebrate and announce it loud. The only personality that does not predict but tells us clearly about the future and it happens is the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the only person that tells you about the future, not guessing, not assumption, not predicting — He tells you the things that are to come; the Knowledge of the truth recorded it. So Executive, don't be discouraged about people's expectations and predictions and current testimonies. Pray for the Holy Spirit to speak to you, and give you directions — for you to be far ahead and remain relevant in today and the future, irrespective of the field you are into.

Know your industry, know your market, know your skill, know yourself, know your business, know your environment, know the people — keep acquiring relevant knowledge in your field, updated insights so you will remain relevant in your field. You want to be wealthy, invest in wealth knowledge, feed yourself with the knowledge of wealths. You want to be powerful and over all giant — then the Bible should be your number one study book before others.

Abide in your field, and deliver values — even the tech world needs you, not as a tech person but as what you are in any field you choose. Be different! Executive.
