New signees with new WWE names introduced on Evolve

WWE’s newest developmental brand Evolve told us earlier in the day on Wednesday (April 1) that new prospects would debut on this week’s episode. We got four talents new to WWE programming on Tubi last night.

One arrived in the opener. It was Belgian wrestler Mike D Vecchio, who made his name in Europe and the United Kingdom in promotions like RevPro, Progress, and wXw. Our first look at the newly christened Dorian Van Dux was a victory over It’s Gal.

The show’s next match brought three introductions from the company’s Independent Development or ID program:  Chazz ‘Starboy’ Hall, CJ Valor, and Santi Rivera.

Hall went by Starboy Charlie on the indies, and has become a popular cruiserweight in West Coast promotions (he’s from California), GCW, and in Japan. He also won the WWE ID Men’s title from Cappucino Jones at a Wrestling Open RI show a week or so back.

Valor is Jimmy House, who has 2-3 three years of indie experience and who lost his own ID championship match against Jones in Mark Henry’s All Caribbean Wrestling back in February. Rivera is a Puerto Rican wrestler who previously went by Jariel Rivera. He’s been working out of New England, but doesn’t seem to have a Cagematch or Wikipedia page, so I can’t tell you much about him quickly.

Starboy Chaz, the Denim Dragon, won the match. He’ll challenge recently crowned Evolve champ Aaron Rourke in the future.

We’ll keep you posted with any major milestones from their WWE Developmental journeys. Let us what you make of any or all four in the comments below.
