New Media Games 2025 Pulls Record Crowd as Creators Take Over UG Stadium

The New Media Games 2025 lived up to the hype and delivered one of the most energetic creator-focused events the country has seen in years. Hosted at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, the event pulled an impressive crowd of 500 to 1,000 bloggers, influencers, digital journalists, filmmakers, podcasters, and online creators from across the country, turning the arena into a vibrant hub of creativity, competition, and collaboration.

With multiple sporting activities running throughout the day, creators didn’t only show up to watch; they competed fiercely for bragging rights.

The football tournament ended with Kwadwo Sheldon Studios FC lifting the trophy after a hard-fought performance that had the crowd roaring. In the gaming arena, the TikTok Stars dominated the EA Sports competition, claiming the top spot with skill and style.

The women proved they were just as unstoppable. The TikTok Stars Female Team beat the New Media Association Ladies in a spirited football match that had fans cheering from start to finish. They kept their winning streak alive by securing another victory in the Tug of War, showing strength and unity that impressed everyone present.

Beyond the sports, the event created a powerful networking space for young creatives—an opportunity to meet collaborators, engage with brands, and celebrate the growing influence of digital media in Ghana.

This year’s New Media Games didn’t just entertain; it united the digital community, strengthened industry relationships, and set a new benchmark for creator-led events in the country. With such a successful outing, expectations are already building for an even bigger edition next year.

The New Media Association of Ghana extends heartfelt appreciation to all brands that supported and powered this year’s New Media Games. Their contributions were vital in making the event both impactful and memorable.
