NEVER DATE OR MARRY A PERSON OUT OF PITY 

Marriage is meant to be a life time contract, signed and sealed with the one you love not with the one you pity. Marriage/Relationship is meant to be Enjoyed not endured, there is no reason what so ever that is reasonable enough to make you go into a relationship/marriage out of pity.

You discovered that they love you and you know deep down that you don't love them in return so you decided to date or marry them because of what they are or have been going through because of you. Trust me such a Union cannot last because the feeling isn't mutual.

They have been asking you out for years and they have sacrificed quite a lot for you and you don't want them to get hurt because of the fact that you have repeatedly said No to them, you then decided to say Yes not on the ground that you love them, that's pity, you're heading towards destruction.

The thing with dating/marrying out of pity is that the love comes just from one end, you force yourself to stay with them, to love them, to give them your best, you struggle to do a lot of things for them because your heart is not really happy with the Union.

In the process of being in that relationship/marriage you could find someone who you truly love and at the end of the day, you either end up cheating on them or ending the relationship/marriage with them.

Never date/marry a person out of pity, never let a Person date/marry you out of pity, it does not always end well.
