Enugu State, Nigeria - Wednesday, July 24, 2024: At the ongoing Nigeria Association of Computing Students (NACOS) National Convention, Didi-Omah Augustine Chinazaekpere, President of the Federal Polytechnic Ekowe (FPE) Chapter, along with his executives Iyirindideke Joseph Patani (Wisdom), Director of Creativity & Finance and President of the School of Applied Science, and Jackson Samuel Kingsley, Director of Creativity & Innovation, met with the NACOS National President, Comr. Chihurumnanya Nwanevu.

This high-level meeting aimed to discuss strategies for enhancing FPE's visibility and recognition on a national scale. Didi-Omah emphasized the importance of integrating FPE more prominently within the Nigerian internet landscape. He expressed his commitment to forging stronger connections between FPE and other institutions, ensuring that the polytechnic is well-represented and influential.

Didi-Omah assured that FPE is dedicated to producing highly skilled IT graduates who are not only problem solvers and job creators but also significant contributors to Nigeria's economy. He confidently stated that the computer undergraduates from Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, located in Bayelsa State, are the future of the internet in Nigeria, promising they will be assets, not liabilities, to society.
