Mr Macaroni slams Abike Dabiri-Erewa over “double standards”::::::
Mr Macaroni has sharply criticized Abike Dabiri-Erewa as “Double Standards”over her tweet regarding Kwam1’s apology for an airport incident.
Dabiri-Erewa, in her tweet, had stated, “Kwam1’s apology on the airport incident. To err is human,” which Macaroni found highly unacceptable.
In a pointed response, Macaroni wrote, “Ma, I just want to say that this is highly reprehensible. You don’t deserve to hold a public office. You have set a very dangerous precedent with this tweet.” He accused her of telling Nigerians that committing a crime could be absolved simply by issuing an apology, without facing any real consequences.Food magazine
He went on to draw a stark comparison with the swift punishment faced by a woman involved in a recent Ibom Air incident. “The speed at which the lady in this Ibom Air saga was sent to Kirikiri is the same speed all those involved in her dehumanization should be sent to prison,” Macaroni said.
He called for the prosecution of everyone involved, from the person who stopped the woman from leaving the aircraft to the individuals who exposed her nakedness and shared it online.
Macaroni’s frustration extended to the broader issue of accountability in Nigeria, where he claims there are no real consequences for certain actions.Food magazine
He highlighted the lack of repercussions for a high-profile individual who obstructed an aircraft, drawing attention to the contrast in how different cases are handled in the country.
Addressing the Minister of State for Labour, Festus Keyamo, Macaroni demanded action: “Minister sir, @fkeyamo it is not enough to tweet! Show workings! The lady is already in Kirikiri, Abi? What is the punishment for standing in front of an aircraft and preventing it from leaving?”
He continued to question the government’s commitment to justice, asking if anyone involved in the dehumanization of the woman had been charged or imprisoned yet.
