Inclusion of National Justice Economic and Civic Transformation (INJECT) party leader Morara Kebaso has revealed that his vehicle has been taken away by the police.

In a statement on Monday, December 30, Morara said that the KCJ200W vehicle was confiscated while he was participating in the #endabdusctionske protests in Nairobi CBD.

Further, he said that his team including a research assistant, INJECT Party Urban mobilizer and Captain Cyrus Waweru were also arrested.

Consequently, he has called for the immediate release of his team members and the vehicle

“This morning, Injectors joined protesters in Nairobi CBD to show solidarity with the families of those who have been abducted. To our uttermost shock and disappointment the police have arrested our research assistant.

“They have also taken away the vehicle KCJ200W. We demand their release with immediate effect. We will not rest until they are released,” stated Morara.

Kenyans Contribute to Buy the Vehicle

Kenyans of goodwill raised millions to support Morara’s activities of exposing President William Ruto’s failed promises, including the purchase of the vehicle.

The prado was bought to help the NJECT party leader effectively reach the masses and improve his civic education programs in rural areas.

Additionally, Kenyans in September helped him raise Ksh1.2 million for the purchase of equipment which he would fit into his vehicle to create a ‘campaign-style’ mode of transport and public address system.

Morara and Team Attacked in Narok

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, Morara said that he was attacked by goons as he led a rally at Ololulunga in Narok

In a statement, Morara alleged that the attackers were sent by a political leader from the region. He mentioned that the politician ferried the goons in his car to attack him and his team.

Further,  he claimed that the leader also paid more than fifty people to block the road, while the goons followed his team in two cars.

“I am shocked that a whole leader can use his car to ferry county workers to attack Kenyans whose only crime is to expose the truth,” Morara said.

Also, he said that one of his researchers sustained a head injury and was transferred to another hospital for safety, while another had injuries to their hand.
