Matches added to SummerSlam, Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE has two major special events coming up, and that means making sure the card is filled out for both. This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw gave us matches for both Saturday Night’s Main Event, scheduled for Sat., July 18, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, and SummerSlam, scheduled for Sat. & Sun., Aug. 1 & 2, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

First, a red-eyed and disheveled Lyra Valkyria told Bayley she is the worst of the Four Horsewomen, was always holding her back, and she wants nothing to do with her anymore. Bayley responded by saying she got a match made between the two for SNME this weekend.

The updated card for that show:

• World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns appears, with Knicks star Jalen Brunson
• CM Punk & Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER & Sami Zayn
• Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria
• Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh
• Women’s Tag Team Championship: Brie Bella & Paige (c) vs. Fatal Influence

Later, LA Knight assisted Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa in their battle against The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso. He then challenged the duo to grab Jey and throw down in a six-man tag team match at SummerSlam. Shortly after, it was made official.

Later still, a Gauntlet match was held to find the next challenger to Penta’s Intercontinental championship. Je’Von Evans had a strong run but he was snuffed out by Rusev. Chad Gable then had to go through both Rusev and Ethan Page to get to continue his redemption arc, and he managed to do just that.
