Man Sets to Re-Build the Recently Launched Tesla Cybertruck With Wood in 100 Days, Shares Progress

A Vietnam-based wood artist who designed the Mercedes Vision AVTR and the Audi Skysphere using wood is set out to rebuild the Tesla’s Cybertruck using the same wood.

The YouTube video shared by the wood artist shows that he’s almost completely built the wood-made Cybertruck. The vehicle he designed comes with two sets of opening doors, functional headlights and taillights, positionable rearview mirrors, and a rear truck bed that opens.

He even went ahead to carve the X logo on the driver’s door, filling it with epoxy resin and adding lights inside to make the logo glow when the EV’s lights are switched on. He also added a functional Cyberquad on the back, which looks exactly like the one Elon Musk introduced in November 2019.

This wooden Tesla Cybertruck the wood artist, Mr Dao made also comes with features like turning wheels, engines, brakes, batteries and even lights inside. The most remarkable thing is that he completely designed this vehicle in 100 days.

Towards the end of the video, he shows himself and his son taking a ride together in the lit-up Cybertruck.
