Lyra Valkyria, GUNTHER advance to Final of King & Queen of the Ring tournaments

WWE The Raw side of the two brackets is complete. The weeks long journey to get to the King & Queen of the Ring tournament finals is complete, at least as it pertains to the Raw side of the bracket. Indeed, this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Greensboro saw two semifinals matches take place with a trip to Saudi Arabia on the line. First, Lyra Valkyria got a pre-match pep talk from Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch and she parlayed that into a big upset victory over former Women’s Champion Iyo Sky after a grueling back-and-forth match. Later, GUNTHER vs. Jey Uso was given the main event spot and while they didn’t exactly tear the house down, they put together a decent match. In the end, Jey speared GUNTHER into the referee, causing a delay in the count after the splash. GUNTHER, then, kicked out. And then wrapped Jey up and submitted him to win the match.
