Some of my favorite videos to binge-watch on YouTube or TikTok are monthly favorites. There’s just something about seeing the seasonal products everyone is loving displayed aesthetically in one place that helps romanticize whatever season we’re in, and obviously gives me fabulous recommendations. I especially love when those videos include book recommendations with personal, rave reviews that have me running to the bookstore.

So, in that same spirit, I polled The Everygirl team to find out which books they read and loved this November. Some are buzzy, seasonal reads, some are titles our editors stumbled upon, but all were beloved by The Everygirl staff these past 30 days. From thrillers to rom-coms, here are all the books our editors couldn’t put down this month.

Don’t be intimidated by this one’s page count; it is an addicting read. According to Resistance records, Helena Marino was a healer of little importance within their ranks. But Helena has inexplicable memory loss of the months leading up to her capture, making her enemies wonder if she’s really as insignificant as she appears. To uncover the memories buried deep within her mind, Helena is sent to the High Reeve, one of the most powerful and ruthless necromancers in this new world. But her prison and captor have secrets of their own…secrets Helena must unearth, whatever the cost.

Crossroads

Our Senior Fashion & Beauty Editor, Jess, ate up the Haven River Ranch series with its hot cowboys, Montana setting, and perfect amount of spice. Indya Keller met West Haven when she was eight years old. He kissed her when she was 16. He was the boy who stole her heart. She was 23 when life ripped them apart. Years later, she’s breaking her vow and returning to the ranch, not as a guest but its new owner. West might want her gone, but even he has to admit the only way to save his family’s legacy is with her help.

Heart the Lover

Abi, Marketing Associate at The Everygirl, said this book lives up to the hype we’ve seen all over social media. In the fall of Jordan’s senior year of college, she meets two star students from her Lit class. The boys invite her into their intoxicating world of academic fervor, rapid-fire banter, and raucous card games. But youthful passion is unpredictable, and soon she finds herself at the center of a charged and intricate triangle. Decades later, she returns to a world she left behind and must confront the decisions and deceptions of her younger self.

I’ve read almost every 831 Stories novella, and this one might be my favorite so far. It’s the perfect palate-cleanser romance, and the high-school-rivals trope is done so well. Cassidy is done moving through her life as the headline-making other woman. She’s paid for what she did as a young campaign intern in spades. After five years of working on anti-bullying initiatives in D.C., she returns to her hometown and she quickly falls into bed with her high-school nemesis Leon. If everyone’s misjudged her, is there a chance she’s underestimated him, too?

Through the Dust

If you’re craving a cowboy romance, our Chief of Sales said Through the Dust is the perfect blend of spice, romance, and Western drama. Lennox Hayes has big dreams of getting back on the pro rodeo circuit. Until then, she’s stuck working the family ranch under the watchful eye of Bishop Bryant—the grumpy foreman who’s made it clear he doesn’t have time for her wild ways. They’ve never gotten along, but when they are forced to work together, sparks fly and tempers flare. Hating each other was easy. Resisting each other might be impossible.

The Everlasting

Our Senior Managing Editor described this as “one of the most devastatingly romantic books” she has ever read—and she reads a lot of books. Sir Una Everlasting was Dominion’s greatest hero: the orphaned girl who became a knight, who died for queen and country. But her life as it truly happened has been forgotten. Centuries later, Owen Mallory falls in love with the tale of Una Everlasting. Her story takes him to war, to the archives—and then into the past itself. Una and Owen are tangled together in time, and if they want to rewrite Una’s legend, they’ll have to rewrite history itself.

Look Closer

If you want something not fully terrifying but still super twisty, Megan, Senior Sales Manager of Brand Partnerships, recommends Look Closer. Simon and Vicky couldn’t seem more normal: a wealthy Chicago couple, he a respected law professor, she an advocate for domestic violence victims. But the pair is far from normal, and one of them just may be a killer. When the body of a beautiful socialite is found, Simon and Vicky’s secrets begin to unravel. Their complex web of lies will have devastating consequences. But just who exactly is conning who?

How to End a Love Story

If cuffing season has you wanting to escape into an adorable rom-com, this rec from Abi should be your next read. Helen Zhang hasn’t seen Grant Shepard once in the 13 years since the tragic accident that bound their lives together forever. Now a bestselling author, Helen scored a coveted spot in the writers’ room of the TV adaptation of her popular novel. Grant knows he shouldn’t have taken the job on Helen’s show, but it will open doors to developing his own projects that he just can’t pass up. But the key to making peace with their past might just lie in holding on to each other in the present.

The Wedding People

It may be a tad summery, but Keely, Senior Social Media Editor, still loved every page of The Wedding People. When Phoebe Stone arrives at the grand Cornwall Inn, she’s immediately mistaken for one of the wedding people, but she’s actually the only guest who isn’t here for the big event. Phoebe is here because, at rock bottom, she is determined to have one last decadent splurge on herself. Meanwhile, the bride has accounted for every detail except for, well, Phoebe, which makes it that much more surprising when the two women can’t stop confiding in each other.

The Three Lives of Cate Kay

Another November read that Abi flew through was The Three Lives of Cate Kay. Cate Kay is one of the most successful authors of her generation. The thing is, Cate Kay’s real identity had been a closely guarded secret, until now. As a young adult, she and her best friend Amanda fantasized escaping their difficult homes, but a tragedy shattered their dreams, and Cate has been on the run ever since. But after a shocking revelation, Cate understands that returning home is the only way she’ll be a whole person again.

Something about the colder weather always makes me crave a gripping thriller, and I flew through this one this month. Deep in the Maine woods, an experienced hiker goes missing. Alone in the wilderness, Valerie battles the elements and struggles to keep hoping. Beverly, the Maine State Game Warden tasked with finding Valerie, leads the search on the ground. Meanwhile, Lena, a 76-year-old in a retirement community, becomes an unexpected armchair detective. Between these narratives, a puzzle emerges, intensifying the search, as Valerie’s disappearance may not be accidental.

With its highly anticipated sequel, Brimstone, just released, Jess decided to finally pick up Quicksilver. When Saeris comes face-to-face with Death himself, she inadvertently reopens a gateway between realms and is transported to a land of ice and snow. The Fae have always been the stuff of myth, but it turns out they’re real, and Saeris has landed right in the middle of a centuries-long conflict that might just get her killed. She mistakenly binds herself to Kingfisher, a Fae warrior who will use her Alchemist’s magic to protect his people, no matter what it costs him… or her.
