Kwame Tyrann Unveils New Project “Nobody”

As the sun set on 2024, Ghanaian Afro-fusion artist Kwame Tyrann—real name Joshua Selasie Kwame Mensah—penned a love story that speaks to the soul. Known for weaving heartfelt emotion into rhythmic melodies, the Accra-based talent ended the year not with fireworks, but with vulnerability, honesty, and a song titled “Nobody.”

The track isn’t just a sonic journey—it’s a confession, a reflection, and a personal moment transformed into music. What many didn’t see behind the lights and stages was the solitude Tyrann carried with him through most of the year. “Nobody talks about how I had nobody,” he reflects, “aside from the one who stood by me till the very end.”

On December 31st, driven by a surge of emotions and clarity, Tyrann channeled his energy into creating a song that encapsulates a very personal kind of love—one not paraded, but protected. “I was full of euphoria in the composition,” he shared, “and the emotional semblance I gathered in writing the song made me project how I felt a no-brainer.”

Inspired by the now-viral mantra, “Keep whatever makes you happy private,” the message of “Nobody” is intimate yet universal. “I love you to the point of letting no one know,” he says. “Because the lesser the ears, the merrier the heart.” In a world where love is often shouted from the rooftops, Kwame Tyrann offers a counter-narrative—one of quiet devotion, soft power, and sacred connection.

The production, helmed by Kick Beatz, lays the perfect foundation for Tyrann’s raw and melodic storytelling. Mixed and mastered by Slim Kiti, and visually brought to life by Kwesi Odonti, “Nobody” is as sonically rich as it is emotionally nuanced.
