Netizens have clashed with Nigerian singer, Perruzi, over the right lyrics of a popular line in his song, ‘ Majesty’ via his Twitter handle on Tuesday.

Some of his fans assumed that the correct lyrics in the song was 'Mermaid,' until the singer revealed the correct lyrics, as "Nwannem If You See The Ma'am Eh!'

A popular tweep, Rinu Oduala, corrected him saying, “Stop writing what you don’t know. It’s 'if you see the mermaid.'"

Another tweep, Kaptain Kush, said, “This won’t let me change my headset. It’s mermaid, no whine us with slant wordplay.”

“Huncho, I don't think you know the lyrics," YourVeryOwnNurse, commented.
