Two suspected fraudsters were apprehended in Okwu Olokoro, Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, while attempting to scam a victim.  The suspects, who claimed to be from Ntigha, Isiala Ngwa North LGA of Abia State, were nabbed by vigilant youths of the Okwu community. The suspects, identified as Uche Harrison, 42, and Lucky Nwohu, whose age remains undisclosed, were caught during an environmental sanitation exercise at the villages market square on Saturday, August 3. The community youths seized the suspects' operational motorcycle and detained them for further questioning. During interrogation, the fraudsters admitted to duping a victim, Mrs. Okwuchi Ihezie, from Ihete Uboma, Imo State, of N350,000 two months ago by selling her a fake business idea.  Upon hearing of the suspects' capture, Mrs. Ihezie traveled to Okwu Olokoro and recounted to the community how she had been scammed by the duo. The suspects were subsequently handed over to the Zone 9 Command of the Nigerian Police in Umuahia by the Chairman of Okwu community, Mr. Bartholomew Nwaeze. Nwaeze issued a stern warning to criminals, advising them to steer clear of Okwu Olokoro. The post Inter-state fraudsters nabbed in Abia appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
