I BUILT DOACWEB TO LET PEOPLE SHARE WHAT THEY KNOW ON THE INTERNET FOR FREE

Starting from a talk and news blog, Doactalk, until due to increase in US dollar rate against Nigerian Naira; we lost our domain name, doactalk.com, to Google Domains, and it was later put to auction at the GoDaddy's website.

From December 28, 2023 to February 25, 2024 — was enough for us to get it back, but because I was a student at final year, and having no much money. I remembered in December 2023, I met a friend of mine from my secondary education, we were student at Community Secondary School, Rumuekini.

About lending me some money to renew the domain on Google Domains. Before then, I have ask Mr. Seun of 2Star Technology, to move the doactalk.com from Google Domains to Truehost Cloud, he refuses.

And then I don't know how to transfer domain name from one host to another. Until after February 25, 2024; I cried, I felt sick instantly.

Still now I have ended all contract with Mr. Seun of 2Star Technology, because he treat you nicely when you pay higher — this action can affect students that want to have website of their own, owning some portion of the internet for business and for sharing information.

On February 26, 2024; I discovered that I have unfortunately lost the doactalk.com — so during the evening, I was filled with hope and new vision came on me.

I purchased a the doacweb.com from Truehost Cloud, crafted out the vision and purpose of the platform. Thanks to Mr. Seun of 2Star Technology, I will never forget to reach out to him, he worked hard till doacweb.com became stable on the internet.

Thanks also to Mr. Wari Denyefa, he played a great role during my days at Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, to make sure doacWeb stands. He taught me hosting, web development, how to troubleshoot a website, how to add a separate website to an existing one, and more — all at nights. Some at his lodge, library and the ICT Center.

I created doacWeb to be the sub-set of the world wide web (www). I built doacWeb to let people share what they know on the internet for free — It can be information in form of video, audio, text, art design, etc. It can also be business — but boosted advertising is for a fee.

Just like, getting information is free but implementation for a fee — using doacWeb is free but doacWeb Advertising is for a fee.

I want doacWeb to let people share what they know, and let we keep having power and possession over the doacweb.com — not losing it to anyone or due to anything. Adonay is our sponsor, he will help us — keep the faith alive.

Chats and direct messaging will not be allowed on doacWeb, we will develop a communication tool for it.
