I am still considering an offer from a record label – Mr Drew

Ghanaian  singer and dancer,  Mr. Drew, known in private life as Andrew Nii Commey has disclosed that he is currently exploring new opportunities after his departure from Highly Spiritual Music in 2023.

The ‘Case’ hitmaker in an exclusive interview on MX24 TV mentioned that a record label has approached him with an offer, but he is still contemplating his decision.

He detailed that company had previously reached out to him and has now returned, seeking a more positive response from him as an independent artist. Drew further made known that the record label mentioned they had an open slot for a new artist since one of their current artistes had left.

Having been a participant in MTN Hitmaker, Mr. Drew was previously signed to Highly Spiritual Music, which was founded by music producer and engineer, Kaywa.

After five years with the label, the crooner decided to part ways due to unfavorable terms and conditions in the contract that he discovered later on. Reflecting on his time with Highly Spiritual Music, Mr. Drew disclosed that he faced significant challenges, including financial struggles that once led him to consider selling his car.

Despite these difficulties, Mr. Drew emphasized that his departure was mutual and amicable, with no lingering conflicts.
