Hyundai i10 Has Been Discontinued

The A segment adapted to urban conditions was left without another representative because the production of the Hyundai i10 ended at the end of the previous year.

The smallest conventionally driven model in Hyundai’s offer for now is the i20, because the South Korean car company withdrew from the range the smaller i10, whose production in Turkish production facilities stopped at the end of last year.

The nimble i10, whose first generation was introduced in 2008, is retiring with a redesigned third-generation edition that arrived on the scene in 2023, and Hyundai has successfully sold one of the proven “street heroes” in many countries around the world.

With the last (decently redesigned) generation, the 3.67-meter-long 5-door hatchback was available in combination with several gasoline engines, and the most attractive version, powered by a 1-liter three-cylinder turbopetrol (100 hp), was hidden behind the N Line add-on. In addition to the manual, the i10 also had an automatic transmission as an option.

In the light of complete electrification, which should have the best effect precisely in the segment of city cars, where the i10 left off, the electric model Inster should continue.
