HOW TO MAKE GROUNDNUT (PEANUT) CAKE

Ingredients:

1 cup of groundnut(peanut) 

(pounded roughly)

1 cup of sugar

Note:

Groundnut cake is made from caramelized sugar and peanut(groundnut). 

It is highly crunchy and tastes nice too.

Directions

Step 1

Pour the groundnut into a mortar and pound or use any substitute to crush the groundnut coarsely.

Step 2

Place a pot on the fire and pour in the sugar.

Step 3

Allow the sugar to melt and caramelise.

Step 4

Pour the pounded Groundnut into the caramelised sugar

Step 5

Stir to mix in the caramelized sugar

Step 6

Pour on parchment paper placed on a flat surface

Step 7

Cover with the other end of the parchment paper and use a rolling pin to roll out to 1/4 inches thickness

Step 8

Uncover and cut to shape then allow to cool off.
